Pasalnya didapat dari hasil permainan kata-kata, yaitu matahri terbenam (sunset) digabung dengan storynya (cerita). Story Of Sunset .Sehingga sewaktu Story Of Sunset mulai bermain di pensi pensi sekolah di kota bogor.band ini di dirikan pada tanggal 20 oktober 2010.
band ini terdiri dasarnya dari teman teman satu sekolah.
