Dream of finite berdiri pada tanggal 07 Agustus 2011 , dengan aliran Poppunk yang influnse band – band seperti Blink 182 , AVA , Paramore , New Found Glory , Coldplay , Rocket To The Moon , All Time Low , Rufio , Incubus , 30Second To Mars , Four Year Strong , Anymore. Dan tak lama kemudian formasi awal berubah karena masuknya Hadi yang mengisi posisi Bass dan formasi sekarang pun : Hilmawan As Vokal , Beck As Guitar , Hadi As Bass , Elfan As Drum

Diawali pertemuan Ucu dengan Angga yang tinggal berdekatan,sepakat mengaransemen lagu2 mereka masing2 untuk mengisi kekosongan waktu dan sekaligus belajar tehnik home recording. Setelah anca dan adi ikut berkontribusi, mereka sepakat menamakan grup ini dengan nama Tubagus (diambil dari nama kekeratonan banten), memainkan musik bergenre pop rock.
